Okay. I start troubleshooting my computer woes today. The manual says if the value of the coolant sensor excedes 1,000 ohms, replace it. Mine measured 2,260 ohms. Spent $42.00 at GM for a new one. Measured the new sensor. 2,260 ohms.:thud: Clearly an error, but where? Anyone else encounter this?
On a footnote. Here is another error in the 81 shop manual. Should be easy for most to spot right away.

Nope. It's an RTD. Isolated from ground.
