84 fuel hard line replacement...oem lines are rusty inside and out...how big of a job is this ? any hints from those that have done this already ? Does the batwing need to drop down ? ..the FSM diagram is rather lacking on the line routing...can anybody point me to a better diagram ? Thx in advance..

After 2 days of fighting with these lines I have a solution. You can not install complete 1 piece lines without dropping the 'Batwing' and the associated suspension and driveline hardware. My solution was to cut the lines where it makes the 'curve' over the passenger 'half-shaft'.. take out about 14 inches (about 7 inches from each side) then feed them in as 2 pieces...from the tank toward the half-shaft and just over the half-shaft toward the front. Will silver solder steel male -6an fittings on each and fab a -6an flex line to connect them together.
