Alright, this is the first cool (or anywhere close to cool) Buick since the Regal!

Somehow I just don't picture myself in a Buick

The Buick Lucerne Super

"The new Buick Lucerne Super - dipped in corporate 'please all senior citizens' design sauce."
Buick has received numerous quality and owner satisfaction awards.
For those looking for a full size family sedan, the Buick Lucerne is one of the best available. Quiet, comfortable, well built, all the creature and safety fetures of a full size Cadillac or Lincoln, for thousands of dollars less.

Looking back, I've had 5 or 6 Buicks, and completely enjoyed each one.
Am considering the Lucerne for our next daily driver.

Zippy :) :)
I like the Lucerne. I have rented several. I like the way they drive and they are very comfortable.

I am looking forward to the new Pontiac G8.

The G8 might not even get made man, along with the other rear wheel drive cars GM had planned (except for the new camaro because it's too far along to pause it). The new fuel economy and CO2 regulations may blow those dreams sky high. Really sucks =[

Sorry, but the G8 is even farther along than the Camaro so your reasoning doesn't make sense.

The Lucerne is a great car and the CXS/CXL with the Northstar and quite responsive. My dad actually just brought home a GM promotional Lucerne in Black with dark limo tint, a black mesh grill, debadged and black 20'' rims. Quite a hot car for a Buick!

Sounds cool! Do you have any pictures?

I probably misread the article I read. Here's the article I read where bob lutz talks about putting gm's RWD platform models on hold. http://www.autoblog.com/2007/04/10/lutz-sounds-the-alarm-gm-puts-rwd-drive-vehicles-on-hold/

Now the G8 wasn't mentioned in the article but I assumed it fell under that same category.

Oh and here another one http://jalopnik.com/cars/news/holy-...ait-for-washington-to-remove-thumb-251139.php
Sounds cool! Do you have any pictures?
Not currently! Next time he brings it home I will be sure to clean her up and take some pics
I probably wouldn't buy one but I'd borrow one.
I'd take one.

I had a 80's LeSabre Custom back in the day as a DD. I drove that thing into the ground with 180K miles on it.

It had a great ride - but it did have a bit of a ghetto theme to it...
What about the new Park Avenue? It might come to the USA...

I saw some other pics of the interior of the Park Avenenue and it was freakin stunning. Why does everyone else get the good stuff and we get are rears fisted with crappy cars.
I wouldn't mind being behind the wheel of an '87 Buick GNX though!!!
Although, I really wouldn't drive it much that's for sure.:partyon: :partyon:

Basically a shortened Cadillac DTS.

In my opinion the Buick Blackhawk is the coolest Buick in a long time, too bad it was only a concept car.

Sweet:thumbsup:

And Arnie, it's actually the same chassis as the DTS (lots of legroom for us tall guys:thumbsup: )

UPDATE: Bought a white '07 Lucerne CXS last week. Absolutely love the car as a daily driver. Before deciding on the Buick, I seriously considered a Cadillac DTS, Mercedes C or E class, maybe a Saturn Aura. Looking back, I have no regrets. Would buy another Lucerne.
