I've got the compressor off my car if you're interested. It was a working piece when removed. Ask around and if it's ok for it to have sat and will be what you need make me an offer. I'm a reasonable guy.:thumbsup:

:huh::spanked: ok thanks!
when your motor is running the A/C Compressor pulley is free spinning. when the A/C is activated, the clutch is activated locking the pulley to the shaft of the compressor allowing the compressor to work.

The compressor will cycle on and off while the A/C is on, depending on pressures, mode of A/C you have selected, etc.

so sometimes the clutch will turn on, then off, then on..

without the clutch, the A/C compressor will never run.

Hope that helps a bit more
