a4 to m6 tranny swap?

I'm either fixing to swap out my a4 to a m6 or sell my car and get one that is already an m6. Does anyone know how hard it might be to do the swap. I know people do them on f-bodys all the time so I am hoping its gonna be about the same, but I would like to see if anyone else here has done it and maybe has some tips or information.

Cost-wise, sell it and buy an M6 unless you are building the tranny and rear-end.
I've probably seen more F-Body guys go M6 to A4 or A3 for that matter. But of course, they generally have different reasons. :smack

I post on some f-body forums they do it, but its not easy. My advice would be to sell your ride and find one already M6 save youself the hassle.

I've decided to sell mine so I'm taking off my bullets and vararam this weekend and maybe I'll get a 2001 z06 if i can find one after I sell mine but the insurance will probably be to expensive because I'm 19, so I'll probably end up buying a coupe or frc.
