Wouldn't this test actually be easier to pass than the sniffer/roller/visual tests in CA?

We have that system in MA now. I am a state inspector and the law requires 97 and up to do an OBD2 scan. They only way you will fail is if you have an error code, (check engine light is on), or if you have a tune and the o2 sensor monitors were turned off because of a catalyst delete.
