Can someone help me with this one....

Two days ago I started my car (C5 coupe, 2000) and ABS - traction service message came up. I checked the codes and it's this one:

C1234 LR Wheel Speed Circuit Open or Shorted

I thought, I would clear it up first to see if it happens again, and it DID. It happens every time I start the car, so I guess there is something on it. My first guess is, the wires should be checked....

Can someone look into the corvette service manual and tell me what is the correct operating VOLTAGE for Wheel speed sensors (the case when DIC would recognize an error, I assume the voltage isn't fixed).

BTW which one is the wheel speed sensor anyway. There seem to be many sensors behind the wheel....

Thanks

Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question. But something I would do is undo the plugs, clean them, and re-plug. Sometimes enough corrosion gets on them to trip the system, ya know? That could be all that is going on here.

Hope you get the answer.
