Recently I've been getting a message on the DIC:
"Active Hndlg Warming Up". When I start the car it's not there. When I start to move it comes on after a 'ding' bell with the active handling ICON on the speedometer. After about 10 minutes another. Another bell and "Actice Hndlg Warmup Complete" and the ICON goes off.

What is it telling me? Is something wrong? It never used to do that. The car runs fine and handles well.

Please advise.

It will also happen occasionally if you start it up and back up and make a turn right away like backing out of a driveway

 The sensors need to realign or something like that...

Nothing to worry about... I believe if you drive past 25 mph it goes off.

(I back out of the garage and have to turn the wheel to successfully get down the driveway...so its been setting this message often for years)

HTH and enjoy that car.

Nothing to worry about. I know when i first got my vette either in the owners manual or the DVD they give you directly mentioned this. It says that it is normal, especially if it is cold outside. Nothing to worry about just the computer doing its job.
