Metaphorically speaking, if you are driving in the right lane doing 65 MPH in your daily driver and a Corvette rockets past you in the left lane, 27 times faster, it would be doing 7,555 MPH!

These references are over 4 months old. In every case they have gotten worse. Yeah right, he inherited it. :rolling:

Because some other president would have been able to prevent this?

Tell me how and what he did wrong. Bear in mind, I will not accept any 'drill here' line because it takes 5 years to get a well to production. (Unless, of course, it was the president of 5 years ago to blame?) Also note that global production has not diminished and that current consumption is still well below Jan 2009 levels.

So, consumption is still down. Production is still up. Refineries are still operating below max capacity. And the prices still spiked.

What should Obama have done?

Bombed the oil companies and big banks instead of Libya. They are much more enemies to us, than Libya. F16 closing fast on a corner office would have a profound effect..

"Long Term Unemployed"

:rolling:

Considering those numbers could not have existed under the Bush Admin, since that was when they started. So of course the stats are going to look like a huge jump on his watch. Starting near zero usually does that.

I have wondered what 3-4 oil/energy executives shot dead in their own front lawn would do to prices. Suppose the shooter would need to leave a note saying that prices are too high or something.

I will say that 32 or 43 million on food stamps seems a bit high. Not that I doubt it. But it just seems unbelieveable.

Well, your boy is responsible for that number, nonetheless...he and the dems passed the extended unemployment bill to give people 99 weeks of unemployment...

Anyway you look at it, you got what you paid for...an inexperienced piss-boy senator with about 2 weeks of legislative experience got handed the keys to the kingdom...
What do you suppose is the reason for any piece of legislation that had more than 50 bucks impact handed off to Pelosi and Reid? He doesn't know how to write a bill yet. So much for the 'Congressional Scholar'...

I suppose he could make his unemployment numbers look awesome by eliminating it all together.

Your statement is like telling the buyer of a house that it's their own damned fault that the time bomb you hid in the ceiling levelled the place 2 years after they had it. They should have looked for it.

Stimulus...ObamaCare...Reappointing Bernanke...Corpse-man...Sued Arizona...Left our borders open...screwed the Gulf States...Screwed the middle class non-union workers big time with the useless Wall Street Reform Bill...Apologized to all our enemies...Left Israel out to burn in the desert...Failed to prosecute the Black Panthers...

He should have sat on his hands and taped his own mouth shut.

You tell me... I make a living from the market. It certainly isn't worth 50+% less.

Don't like the costs of fuel or commodities? Get a better job. Or a second one. It's all about choices.

Or just learn to trade. Worked for me.

Bush passed the stimulus
Romneycare works well and the HealthCare law mimics it.
Bush appointed him first.
Want to get into a Bushism misunderstimating war with me?
AZ violated the US Constitution, even though I agree with them.
Bush left the borders open, too. reagan gave them amnesty.
Katrina ring a bell? Brownie did a heckuva job.
Defend your opinion that the reform bill screwed me. I'm doing better than ever.
Tell me who he apologized to. No one. Accepting responsibility is not the same as apologizing.
How did he abandon Israel? They are using our drones, now. They have not been attacked significantly in years.
What Black Panthers? For standing near polling places? Not illegal.

Serious. Your lines are right out of a Beck/Hannity/GOP/Fox talking point memo and have all been thoroughly debunked by most of the literate world.

I would like to learn, but I don't know the best service or what to look for. I could scratch up ~$1k fairly quickly to try. PM me!
