I need new shocks!!! Holy crap are they toast!!

Should I just do shocks? Coil-overs instead? What is the price difference?

Yea, death in the family. I live near the Wisconsin border, and had to haul-ass to South Carolina. Then... back last night...

But, I swear my shocks were fine .... then went south VERY quickly.

Coil overs are going to run you about $1,000.

Replacement shocks should be in the $200-300 range.

I say go coil overs. I'm trying to get the money together to do mine still. :D

Hmm.... $300 or $1000.....

Do the QA1 shocks fall under the $300 barrier?

My '88 came with KYBs (instead of the stock Bilsteins) and they are doing a fine job.

I see MAD has sets of 4 for ~$150.

$700 is ok .... but isn't it a pain-in-the-ass to remove the springs?

I was thinking about bringing the car to Al's shop and paying him to do the labor.

I bought a new set on Ebay for 98.00, but then realized they were for a 84-87 and my suspension is a 89...oh well saving them for my 85 when its done
