I have a built heads and cam LS1 in my C3. We have a ticking noise, sort of like a sewing machine sound, and thought it might be incorrect length, or bent pushrods. But they are the correct length and not bent. However, the stock rockers look like they're going absolute full travel and may be the culprit. I'm considering aftermarket rockers. My only real requirement is that they fit under stock valve covers.

Anybody using Harland Sharp rockers and if so what do you think of them? Any other hi-quality aftermarket rockers that'll fit under the stock valve covers?

Comp and Crane both have rockers that will fit under the stock valve covers. I don't know which are best. I would like a set for my LS2 but i don't know which ratio (1.75 or 1.85) will work best with an aftermarket camshaft. I haven't seen any cam/rocker/pushrod kits, if anyone has please let me know also.

p.s.
I've had 3 LS engines - they all make a sewing machine noise!

Thanks for the info. I don't have any covers on the motor (won't fit) so I get a lot of that valvetrain noise. Most of it doesn't bother me, but the ticking, is a little annoying.
