The belt has come off three times now any ideas what to look for. The alignment looks good and everything seems tight I can’t figure out how it walks thru the main belt without knocking it off.

Sounds like the idler pulley isn't putting enough tension on it. They should be adjustable, so I'd look there first and tighten it up--not a lot at first, but maybe take a 1/8" out of the slack. It should be spring loaded. :thumbsup:

the balancer was removed with the heads and cam were put on, it has a little wobble but it always has and this issue just started i 'll check it out.

the idler pulley is hard mounted with no adjustment it's just spring loaded, it might be worn out but the car only has 17K on it.

Yep - especially if have had it removed for the engine mods. There is a tedeous process to reinstall with specific torque and it must use a new bolt. The EARLY 05 models were spinning pulleys off left and right for some reason causing belts to jump.
