I have a 98 coupe and want to get some aftermarket exhaust on the car, does anyone have a Granetelli brand exhaust (catback ) system on thier car? If so, how do they sound, I don't want so much noise you can't think. I like the old school sound. Thanks for your time and advice. :thumbsup:

I have the Borla Stingers on my car. There is some drone at about 1500 rpm or so.

I have heard good things about GHL - no / less drone.

I have the Borla Stingers as well, and when I get up to around 55 miles an hour I do get some drone but its not where near enough to disrupt anything. I love my Stingers, but I heard good things about the GHLs also

I have the stintgers, excellent sound. I have the A4 so perhaps I don't get as much drone as the MN6 owners.

I have GHL and love it, I wouldnt trade it for the world. From aftermarket catbacks, you will get some drone regardless. But cruising around town at 45MPH in 4th gear the car is almost silent. Once you open it up or go thru the gears you will be heard.

My votes for GHL.

I had the B&B PRT cat backs on my C5 and I thought they were a little quiet for my taste so I installed a set of B&B Bullets. :devil: :thumbsup:

I still have my B&B PRTs and they are for sale. Check out B&Bs web site for a sound clip and let me know if you are interested. They have a nice "Old School" sound. They were only on the car for 2 months and are brand new! :thumbsup:
