in most cases YES!
why not try it, in 50 rpm stages untill you get where you intend on the idle rpm,
and see if you get results you like?
keep in mind if its an auto trans,
it may make the car a bit more prone to creep forward in gear
if your parked at a light so youll need to keep a foot on the brakes.
obviously if things don,t work out the way you expect...
you can back track and be no worse off,
and have not spent any money and very little effort

Out of curiosity, if the idle speed is increased will it move the throttle linkage that the idle solenoid pushes against? I am wondering if the solenoid would need to be adjusted as well or are they somewhat independent adjustments?
