Hey didn't i just see you at pour boys tuesday afternoon? because that Dodge in the background looks familiar.
Maybey, but I got rid of the dodge a few months ago.I've been riding the v-rod to work. But I stop at poor boys all the time.Do you ever come to the cruse at auto zone in Excelsior springs?(It's on the first sat of every month.)I was still living next door to the Elms when those pix were taken.

I respect your ambition to see this project through.

Hey...I have an idea for you.

Check out the side view mirrors that came on the late 95-99 model Buick Riviera, and Aurora. The have a freaky aero looking high pedestal and flow back into a torpedo looking housing for the glass. I don't recall ever seeing one of those on a Vette...but I think it would be the perfect mod for your car with all the aero body work you are doing.

I like them,I might go that way on mirrors. They would look good and the high pedistal would help alot on vision.Thanks.
v-rod

I like that v-rod...i am thinking about getting one..
no i have never been to the cruze nights in Excelsior, did not know about them. might have to check them out though.

If you do get one, you wont regret it!Of all the bikes that I have had,( from KZ's,rice rockets, and big'ol briggs and strattons to gold wings) This is hands down my favorite one so far.I have added a power commander III USB,opened the exhaust and a few other things. It's kinda cool to have a harley that redlines at @10.000rpm and has 120hp stock. All of that aside it just a great ridin bike!
Show, that car is sick cool. I want to be there when you take it out for the first time.

Cool,It's a good time!We fill the lot with cars of all kinds.(Usually get a few passes from the drag cars!)Our car club sponsors them and there is free hot dogs and pop.We keep it clean for the family.I would love to see your vette there! If you come out, look me up!I'll have the vette or the v-rod there.I'm the vice pres, of the club so Im all over the place.

THANKS!
Yeah, that will be cool. It's been down for two seasons now and it's killin me!
I use to drive it everywhere I went.It will never be a trailer Queen!
Tonight I will start cuttin off the old flap style flares and mounting the new ones.It will change the look alot! All of the glasswork that needs to be done is a little overwhelming after a full days work, but I still enjoy it.

The part I love is those proposed HEADLIGHTS, love to see/find out just what you use to pull THAT off, and how you going to form the plastic covers (or what you need to spend to get them done).....I like those very muchly...

I have it lined up and will take pix of the head lamps as I go too!I was gonna build my own buckets for them out of glass, but I have a few things to try on them to keep the look.I might just modify the donners.I'm waiting on them to get here first and see how close they are.(They will need some moddin.)
Here's a few from this evening. It still looks rough!I'm glassing all the possible weak areas.
