I just purchased a 1965 Coupe, 327/350hp, w/o air conditioning. I would like to purcahse a battery and battery cables for it that will meet NCRS judging standards. I believe it should have a Delco 558 DC12 battery and cables with the spring-ring clamps. Does anyone know of a vendor who can supply a battery and cables with original part number markings with exact cable gauge and colors? Also, need a recommendation on whether to purchase a lead acid battery like the original or go with a maintenance free battery. Does this make a difference for NCRS judging?

Thanks,

Mike
