Is it a good idea to put oil under new bearings when installing.?

It is a good idea to use assymbley lube on the brg surfaces, and don't skimp. make sure to lube all friction surfaces.

Do you have an assy manuel there with you?

Between the shells and the block/caps? NO
Between the shells and the crank? A MUST

CLEAN the back of the bearing and the block where the bearing fits with alcohol. That surface needs to be clean and dry. Then right before you set the crank in, apply assembly lube to the face of the bearings. And DON"T forget to install the rear main seal. Ask me how I know.
