My dad's 85 has about the same spoiler on it. We were going to take it off but didn't want to deal with fixing the place where it attached.
Right now the plans are finishing up getting a trans in that works, then getting it to the body shop and have it soda blasted...
It the end, a nice white/flag car or navy blue C4 that can be enjoyed and not parted out as the white car had to be...

The Hood Prop was some funny $h|t... LoL... Well atleast we got a start by pulling the trans.. I just hope the trans from the white 85' will work ok... If not I guess we'll be re-building one of them...ChiMan said:Just the beginning of the project

I think from seeing what the 85/89/93 looks like now that this one will turn out pretty nice when your done..

My 86 had the same spoiler. kinda gets in the way while driving. I thought i was weird when i used the left over torque arm fomr the 86 to hold the hood of my 79 up.

I hope you lose that spoiler, they never looked right on a Vette IMHO.
