What's your most favorite corvette?

For me, the best vette is the 1969 Stingray coupe. I dont know how it drives with different engines, 'cause simply I haven't driven any yet. (that's why I didn't specified engine option). In my eyes it's simply best looking corvette ever!
What do you think?

Martin, I will have to agree with you. I love the bumper corvettes. I love the square exhaust of the 70-73 vettes. Also I like the flares that came in to being on the 70 vettes. I love the 69 vettes gills with the chrome inserts. So if those attributes would have came together in one car that would have done it for me.
So far in mine I have built the motor to be a mild performer and installed a 5 speed. It will cruise at 80 MPH at about 2000 RPM. I can go anywhere I want now. I am making my perfect vette.

Square exhausts of 70-73 are cool, but for me side-pipes somehow belongs to C3 Corvette. It's shame that you could buy sidepipes only for 1969 model.

BTW., what about the colour? I love black Corvettes!

Martin, here is a pic of my vette I took last summer by the lake after a rain and the fog lifting off the water. Look real closely and you can see a red hood on the car. I am pretty stoked about getting it painted.

I can't really say which Vette I like the best. I love them all! But If I HAD to choose one....

Undoubtly Sting Rays were perfect corvettes. Did they really had better road handling then C3?

I think the 1978 Silver Anniversary. And I mean that, too. Not only because I own one. But I think the two-tone silver just looks magnificent. The engine numbers could be a little better, but that wasn't Chevrolet's fault. That was the tree huggers that did this to us. That's okay, though. It doesn't take much to beef up a Vette.

I think the '69 would probably be my 2nd favorite. Convertible. That would be nice.
