For the second time in the last 30 days, BG is forced with a closure. Due to a surge in Pandemic cases in Mexico, a couple of suppliers have reduced production forcing the plant to shut down Thursday and Friday this week. Both BG shifts resume a "...normal work schedule..." starting on Monday.

GM spokesperson David Barnas confirmed that they "...expect to resume normal operations on Monday, November 16..." and that GM's "...supply chain, manufacturing and engineering teams are working closely with our supply base to mitigate any further impact on production."

2020 sucks. Whoever it is out there who keeps muttering, "Geeze, what else could go wrong," ...STOP IT!

I haven’t heard much lately. What’s the status of orders placed and delivered? Are they behind? Are people buying this car?

Not sure how on-point they are against promised dates, but this is the second time in a month that planned production has been stopped so I'd tend to guess that they have fallen behind. It took BG longer to spool up to full production capabilities and they still keep losing production days to a list of Covid-impacted suppliers. All that said, they are cutting over to 2021 production tomorrow = 11/16/2020
