Hello everyone,

I have started to order exterior matched door handles and fuel rail value covers. They should be mailed soon.

My goal is to get my 2007 C6 look like an euro style.

I saw an item which replaces the black rear section of the car to match the exterior color. The item was priced at $495 however I can not find that website nor that item.

Can someone help me?

Also, my car color is Atomic Orange and the majority of the exterior matched items do not come in that color.

How long should I wait til I see that color?

Also, one last question. Do you guys think it is weird/strange to change most of the black items to match exterior color?

How about the interior? I saw an entire center console to match the exterior color? Is this weird/strange? Please keep in mind, my color is Atomic Orange.

All feedback/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

HEY, YOU DO WHAT EVER YOU WANT TO MAKE YOUR VETTE YOUR VETTE! I THINK THE REAR ITEM YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT MIGHT BE THE CENTER BREAK LIGHT SPOILER. THE ONLY THING IS THAT IT SHOULD ONLY BE ABOUT $140 ACORDING TO SOME OF MY ACCESSORIES BOOKS. GO ONLINE AND ORDER ALL THE ACCESSORIES BOOKS YOU CAN FIND. THEY GIVE YOU GREAT IDEAS AND PRICES. TURN AROUND TIME FOR ORDERS IS GREAT. IF YOU CAN'T FIND YOUR ATOMIC COLOR CHECK WITH A DEALER TO SEE IF HE CAN PAINT THAT IDEM FOR YOU? AS TO YOUR INTERIOR QUESTION = GO FOR IT. I'VE NOT SEEN IT IN ATOMIC BUT I BET YOU MAY NOT SEE YOURSELFE GOING DOWN THE ROAD THAT WAY!!! WHAT EVER YOU DO ENJOY. WAVE ORANGE AS YOU PASS ALL YELLOWS CAUSE ONE OF THEM MAY BE ME.

Clarification; the area near the muffler

The area that I have originally asked is the area near the muffler.

This piece cost $495.

Yes, I am aware the rear spoiler costs $140 to $160 depending on the vendor.

By the way, thanks for your honest feedback.

Yes, I will make this my vette however I did not want to make it an eye sore.

:agree: I also would ask your dealer or a body/paint shop you trust or have someone refer one if you do not know of any good ones and have them paint yours. It may very well be less expensive to do this than to buy a replacement.

I am curious on this one too as I have seen a carbon fiber replacement that looked really good, and if I knew where people where getting them from I might just get one too.

Mid America sells these and I believe West Coast Corvette does also. However these are just covers that attach using double sided tape. They are also quite expensive for what they are, somewhere around $400.00 I believe.

APSIS USA is also a company that makes some fantastic CF replacement pieces for our cars. They are also extremely expensive. The do make the rear valence in a true CF replacement that is very high quality and also expensive, over $1,000.00 I believe.

painting the stock one wont make you very happy as it is a ruff texture. this piece replaces the whole stock piece not a stick on. starcraft also make a complet bumper replacment that gets you the same look for i think 700.00
HEY, THAT LOOKS GREAT ON YELLOW - I'M THINKING I MAY JUST HAVE TO HAVE ONE FOR MY YELLOW. I THINK IT WOULD LOOK GREAT ON ORANGE TOO.

but u not matching your black paint/finish. yuou can paint it but i doubt he be happy with it on his with the dsmo color
I hear what you're saying but the rough surface is very smooth after any paint application, I didn't even apply clear coat to mine (wanted flat look like the C6R race car) or flat like the original blk plastic, what I'm saying is it can look exactly like factory shiny smooth finish w/competent painting skills:thumbsup: seen another C6 w/blk gloss paint looked excellent.
