I'm a busy TV star man!
LOL... I got a hair cut yesterday, 10 minutes after Steve left my house in a cloud of C6 tire smoke!
He went sideways for about 400 feet before straightening it out.
Well, I can explain ...
My poor, underpowered C4 takes so much effort to get going, that when I hopped into the LS2 powered C6, and got into that grabby clutch (and very sensitive throttle), I just couldn't help but make smoke!
I also discovered how to make it stall today ...
My caravan buddy had to make a quick stop to reorganize his interior after a particularly harrowing curve, so I turned around to see what was up. He was safely on the shoulder, while I wound up in a gravel covered section of the road. As I was attempting to feather my way back onto solid road, I gave it what I considered a judicious amount of throttle, which the traction control system then interpreted as "you've bagged your limit, boy!", and gave me a red flag ... when the car lurched, I let off the throtle, and the little red light on the push to start button lit up ... a quick press of the button solved that little problem, and I successfully negotiated my way through the gravel by pulling off in SECOND gear.

I was 2 feet from the dcc6 and was not even let sit in it let alone drive it !!!! if fact I was asked to wash it by steven !! so he could get all the credit for a clean car !!
That isn't quite the way I remember it. My recollection is a wizened old man standing next to his nifty looking '72 saying something to the effect of how much he loves to be heat soaked in his un air conditioned car.
I remember a mumbled phrase about "if you ain't hot, sweaty, uncomfortable, and about to die of heat stroke, you're not living the Corvette dream, Sonny!"
And after that magnificent gift I bestowed upon you, too!
Here's a pic of the DC Crew that showed up on Thursday ...
and here's a shot of a nice looking C2 ...
