tom it will play dvd, mp3, cds ipod adaptor bluetooth it answers my phone, rear camera ready but i dont need it so i did not add it. yes you can add a tv tuner. as far as the mats go yes i want them but i heard bad things about them. i heard they dont stay in place because the plasitc ring wont hold it in place.

I just put the same D3 in my C6, so far I love it. Nav, Bluetooth, XM, backup camera, and Ipod all for a great price (~$1100). I used a Peripheral GMCO adapter to connect it to the Bose system.

Did you connect the illumination wire so the screen dims at night? Running that wire to the parking light circuit was the only time consuming part of the install (other than sanding and bead blasting the trim kit to make it match the C6's interior plastic).

I have a set and some of the clear plastic covers(daily driver). The covers move sometimes, but the Lloyd mats underneath never do. The fastener works well, I think? A buddy has a suv with a system that plays movies, has a SD card reader and inputs for a b/u cam and tuner... He added a tuner... Thought it would be pretty cool in a 'vette also.

Did you install it? What wiring harness did you use? Ive got an 2006 and I cant find a wiring harness. I'm being told that I have to hard wire it but I will lose chimes and stuff.

By the way I have the base stereo, no BOSE and no OnStar

Even though they don't list the 06 in the application guide, the Peripheral GMCO that I used is compatible with the 06, with or without Bose. People at the "other" forum have done it. Without Bose, you will also need the separate chime module if you want to retain that feature.
