I found an old Mitchell Crash Manual and Estimating Guide in our parts dept.
from the early 1980s......In it, is listed the '73 - '82 Corvette.
(Sorry to you '68 - '72 guys.....I'll see if I can track down an older version.)

It will show you part numbers and estimated times to replace those parts.
( Do keep in mind that this info is dated 1983.....so some has indeed changed
since then ).

Mods...this would make a good sticky...;)

Hope everyone enjoys......cause it was a lot of trouble....:smack :smack

:agree: this posting should become a ""Sticky"", because many part store and dealers no longer carry this information.:agree:

The Mitchell Manuals typically only go back 10 years......unless you have
an OLD CAR version. I'm going to contact some of the old shops in my area
and see if I can't get lucky and find a copy from the 70's.

The real shame is that so many of those parts have made the "discontinued" list. The guys that have a rusty birdcage could use them. Big time. Be a bunch easier to just put in a "new" hinge pillar instead of rebuilding one.

What's the most interesting about this is the List Prices from 25 years ago.
If they were only that cheap today............
