Wow, that is amazing George! Do you get that much snow very often? :surprised

Hell no! This storm broke all of the records! We get some snow most every year but this really takes the cake!! The entire area shut down and the Federal Government was closed yesterday!!

I lived in norfolk VA thanks to the us navy >
I lived off base with 3 other guys and we were all from around Chicago and Michigan we got a inch of snow and thy closed navy norfolk air base > we were saying man thats just a dusting back home >but loved the day off
Ya they go a bit crazy here! The people think the world is going to end! The line to get in the store was so long it was not even worth it! Everyone bought out all of the lunch meat! CRAZY!!

I feel your pain on that one George. We got dumped on up here in Maryland. I have a carport but the damn snow still piled up on the car. Luckily I have it covered like you. Still depressing to see it buried in all that snow. I can tell you what got cleaned off first at my house though and it wasn't the damn driveway.

I've thought of building a garage or expanding my carport and covering it in. I'm having trouble with the reasoning though. 30K for a garage for the sole purpose of housing my 10k car. ROFL.

I don't see the problem here??? I wish I had that option...I love my neighborhood and have a townhouse and can not put in a garage......I would do it in a second!!

Or a car port!

I wish I had taken pics last week, there wasn't much snow ON the car but when I tried to go through a snow drift while trying to get out of the driveway, the car plowed so much snow up underneath the car that when I got stuck the front of the car was about 8 inches above the rear. When I do it, I do it good.

BTW, with a LOT of snow on a C3, the best way to get it off is to fire it up and let the engine and heater do their thing or CAREFULLY scoop it off, don't use a broom because you take the chance on spiderwebbing the hood or rear deck.
