shop manual and alignment specs call for checkin trim height, (oft called ride height)..but how..and to what specs..some measure ground to body wheel arch, specs are ground to frame aft of front whl, fore of rear wheel. Once measured how does one adjust or change it. Seems some adjust is poss at rear with the outer spring bolt nuts; some suggest longer bolts if necessary, seems some newer replacement rear springs create the tall ride. Duntov says many such springs are way too stiff.
Comments appreciated..and what about the front??? How can height be adjusted there? Thanks, Dirty Pants Nick, with a 1981.

hey Nick, you're right that the rear ride height is adjusted with the spring bolt. Front height is adjusted by changing or modifying springs. Lots of threads on here about cutting a coil off springs to lower it, so do a little searching and I'm sure you'll turn up some good info
