Woah that was crazy. What happened? Did he lose brakes, patience or driving ability? :thud:

:surprised

Aaron is an incredible driver. The first time I was a passenger in a car with him on a track (at Miller coincidentally) it was like I was for the first time introduced to what a Corvette is really capable of. He is absolutely one-with-the car behind the wheel, and though he knows exactly where the outside limits are, his toes are always curled right over the edge, while all the time completely focused and in total control. There's nobody better to learn from, one of the most impressive things I've ever experienced.

Aaron and I talked on the phone about that last week.

Said the guy was turning erratic lap times, seemed to have an issue controlling the car, went to pass Aaron and was going way to fast and was completely off the line. Went flying past him on the inside and that was all she wrote.

Aaron must have seen it coming because he didn't start his turn in.

My understanding is the C4 was a wreck, but was in a trailer and out of the door before anyone could see it.

This guy was way beyond erratic, closer to "dosen't have a clue". You don't see race drivers go off the track like that very often. You can hook a wheel on a curb, push off the corner, lock the brakes, oversteer off, whatever.

Somebody should sit him down and have a long talk with him. Hopefully, he would listen, some guys won't. He's putting other people's lives in danger.

I gotta get over to Miller and drive that track one of these days.
