I am getting to the point where I'd like to upgrade my brakes. I have participated in several track days and have done the routine maintenance that one should after/before severe track usage.. So far, the stock brakes (GM ceramic pads) have performed better than I had expected..but I'd like to improve on the feel of the brakes. I have spent some time on the CF and have soaked in some ideas on how/what I might need to do this.
1. braided stainless lines
2. new rotors (probably just replace with new stock no drilled or slotted)
3.pads
4.biasing spring (to increase rear braking a bit)
5.stainlees steel pistons (do they really make a difference.in terms of heat transfered to the fluid?)
What do you guys think?? Will this be good enough for weekend track trips 3 or 4 times a year or should I **** can the whole system and go with aftermarket rotors and calipers??
