If anyone hasn't done it, I HIGHLY recommend the replacement of the clutch spring on the C6 with the samller one from the C5. So much better feel, loses that follow-on jerk you get when shifting at lower speeds, and just gives you more feeling when engaging the clutch. I changed it out--about 2 minute job and it costs $7, last week. Overall, the best cheap mod out there--with the exception of opening the shroud which is real cheap = free. There's been a couple of threads on it here and on CF. NO ONE has had the slightest negative to say about it, and that is rare as hell.

We just pull the damn spring off completely - - all feel and no spring.

Several guys have done that. I guess I'm too conservative to get rid of it and find the C5 spring a good compromise. Bottom line, either is far better than the huge C6 version.
