This is how I replaced my oil sending unit,

It's not necessary to remove the entire intake

"I found this video made by someone else"

Just in case someone Needs this procedure, I thought I would share it

:thumbsup:I'm smack in the middle of preping for this. I picked up the DPE relocation kit. Just can't seem to find a sacraficial left coil cover to experiment drilling holes for gauge placement.

Don't know if I will video tape install, but I do plan on timing it :laughing:after I obtain a sacraficial cover and take a deep breath..................:D

I am the guy that made the video. Glad to see it worked for you. I got a ton of **** from people saying it couldn't be done so the video was a "proof of concept". Sorry for the shitty filming.

Did it today on my 2000 coupe in about an hour (dropped the sensor my 1st try)

I got to looking and quite honestly I've had harder tasks working on helicopters than changing the sensor unit (I did have to use my sweet wife and her small hands a bit)

Absolutely great! Thanks:thumbsup:
