Huh?
You replaced the switch several times?
Maybe you have a short in the wiring or a computer malfunction. Any codes?
Huh?After several replacements, i decided just to un-plug the switch, no chims, lights or warnings anymore..oh well, it didnt work anyway.
Why would you just unplug a vital sensor on your vette? That is insane. Have you had a Corvette tech look at the problem? After several replacements, i decided just to un-plug the switch, no chims, lights or warnings anymore..oh well, it didnt work anyway.
The sensor went out and gave irratic readings, i replaced 5 in 70,000 miles. the only codes were after the sensor failed and it was a high and low voltage code. no other problems found.Huh?

It's a temporery fix, i keep an eye on the temps until i can re-locate the sensor, aparently there are problems with sensors, if anyone has found a reliable one other then the oem, please let me know.that sounds a bit extreme, im guessing the problem lies somewhere within the wiring as another member mentioned
ive lost an oil pump before and though it gets you a nice new engine just remember that you have to pay for it and the aftermath isnt exactly pretty (but i guess it does make a good coffee table  )
