IMO, my car's handling got better when I slammed it. Less body roll, lower center of gravity.....

Do you know if those rims were solid flat on the back where they bolt to the hub, or did they have a recess in between each wheel stud hole?

The OEM wheels have the recess and the aftermarket usually doesn't, but I don't know about the C5-C6 wheels yet.
