I'm not sure why this is limited to the LT6. This is exactly what I did with my C6 Z51 LS2 after leaving the NCM for the first 500 miles as we headed home. We spent lots of time rowing between 4th, 5th, and 6th on the hiways and when in towns I tried to stay in 2nd and 3rd. I plan to do the same with my C8 Stingray when I pick it up at the NCM next month.

On a different note my 85 doesn't seem to have enough current capacity for the accessories.
accessories:
Bose stereo
Push pull fans on radiator with override temp sensor override to turn on the push pull fans
ac system
Lights
The push pull fans won't kick in at night
Given this information, can I put a larger amperage alternator in the electrical system?

My favorite time is in the morning cruising the LV strip. Occasionally,
there are other Corvettes and a Lamborghini or Ferrari or
McLaren running around.
