Can you take those suckers apart? More specifically, can you pull the glass off to paint the insides?

Yes but it is not easy.

One person posted on another forum he was able to split the glass from the bucket using an electric hot blade tip on a variable temp Soldering Iron. He cautioned working slowly.

The other alternative is see Lou or a GM contact for the C6r Headlght bucket source. I have heard they fit C6 Z06s and the glass and the bucket are separate. They also have different headlight so this alternative might prove problematic.

I know a body sho that cut them open with a cutting wheel then painted and glued them back together ::crazy: :crazy:
