even if the SS comes close to the Bugatti, its still a Bugatti, and thats all that needs to be said.
I think the #s would equal or exceed the Bugatti in most cases. With the exception of top speed. I can't see why the SS couldn't easily do 220mph.The new Car & Driver predicts a 0-60 time of 3 seconds. I can't wait for the SS vs Bugatti comparison. A $100k car coming close to a $million car wouldn't be embarrassing or anything.
I don't. AWD will have the Bugatti faster to at least 100mph, and I believe all the way to top speed.I think the #s would equal or exceed the Bugatti in most cases. With the exception of top speed. I can't see why the SS couldn't easily do 220mph.

The Euro (at least) versions have Launch Control. Can anyone tell me why the 599 GTB launches so well? This is a trivia question BTW!
lack of torque? Can anyone tell me why the 599 GTB launches so well? This is a trivia question BTW!
599 has more weight on the rear wheels than the Z06 (or future Z07), that means more traction.Well, Porsche's launch well because of the rear-engined design. The 599 GTB has a very neutral weight dist., so that is not it. It launches well because of its launch software.
I say it is relatively easy, they can move the engine further back 5-7 inches. Even in the Z06 it is possible, but it would require changes to the fuel tank because seats would be moved back as well.with the Vette having a rear transaxle and being a front mid engine design I wonder how far they would have to go to engineer a rear weight bias into the Z07?
