i have a 98 vert ,low miles in mint condition . does anyone have any experience dealing with Grundy collector car insurance? claims? satisfaction level? i rec'd an on line quote that was 1/5th of what i am presently paying with allstate!!!
Watch the clauses. Most of the "classic car" insurers limit the amount of mileage per year, that you can drive. My 97 runs me $110 and change a month with Farmers ins. Full cover with uninsured 500k across the board and 1 speed... The one and only cool thing, about turning 40 :rolling:
There's a lot of classic car insurers around. Grundy, Hagerty, Heacock. All have pretty good reputations, but as vfpreacher said, they have lots of restrictions, mileage probably being the one you're most interested in.
I've used Hagerty the last few years, my car is not a daily driver so I can live with the mileage restriction. I've only had one claim with them, a windshield, and they handled it with no problem.
If your cars not a daily driver you may want to look into it a little further.
