Alternator is not charging. Take it off and take it to Auto Zone or whatever auto parts is close and they will check it for free normally. While your vette is idling go to the DIC and hit options till it shows what your system is charging at.

I have shop manuals, I can look it up for you as well if you'd like.
I took it to autozone and the battery and alternator are both good. Still had to roll start it though when I turned it off. now It shows service active handling, service abs and all the others including charging system fault still. And now my check engine light is on, the car is freaking out on me. I guess its time to call GM and make an appointment.
Clicking means not enough volts to start.

Did you charge the battery before installing it?

When you put the key in the ignition, look at the gages at the volts. Tell us what you see.
11.5 volts before I start. Thats a new battery too.
