Just in case you missed the post in the Events section!!
Many Chicagoland Vette owners are participating in Da Groves “Chevy Day” at Historic Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove, WI! A Car Show, Special Swap Meet and Vendor area is also part of this annual Drag Racing event on Sunday June 8, 2003. Gates open at 9am.
We welcome “first timers" to come join the fun and excitement of running your Vette on the ¼ mile track. There will be several experienced drivers to show you the ropes and give you pointers on how to properly take your corvette down the Drag Strip!!!!!!!
There will also be a Great Lakes Corvette Challenge points race DURING this annual event. There will be CASH Prizes and trophies to the winners of the Corvette Challenge Bracket and Low ET competition.
***You will need to identify yourself as a Corvette Challenge participant at Front Gate for Separate Club Number and Special Pricing and to participate in the Corvette Challenge Bracket competition. **Great Lakes Corvette Challenge Racers get a special race price of $30!!!! Registered Corvette Challenge participants will continue to use their assigned CC numbers!
Other Cost:
Chevy Car Show $25, Adult Spectators $15; Children ages 11-15 $8; ages 5-10 $1.
Race or watch, bring your friends and/or family, it should be a great time!
There is a Car show for all the shiners too!
Gates open at 9:00 AM
Time runs - All Lanes
Eliminations "Dial In" start at 1:00 PM (Our own Corvette Challenge lanes)
Trophies will be provided to the winners!
GL Corvette Challenge Race & Car Show is $40 if you plan to do both.
