Where can I weigh my C6 in the Chicagoland area? My friends think my C6 weighs a lot because it has the A6 Transmission and the Z51 Package. I e-mailed GM and they told me "3,179 is the total weight of a C6, with standard equipment, and all necessary operating consumables (fuel, motor oil, coolant, etc), excluding cargo and driver/passenger."

I think your best bet is to find a truck stop with a scale. You can usually weigh there for a few bucks.

I don't think you will find you are far off from what GM told you though.
