Aloha,
I am getting a c4 in June,i owned an 89 before,but did'nt have kids.
This car will not be a daily driver, and will rarely even drive the kid in the car,but for those rare occassions i do,whats the best seat,i want a child seat for every car we own.
Mahalo for any advise.

I have two kids, both in car seats. Not sure what brands without going outside to look, but I always make sure that the rear strap (?) that prevents excessive forward motion is attached to something, ANYTHING. I feel very comfortable with my sons in my car as long as the side to side and forward motion is limited.

Thanks homie...I sent you a PM the other day too.Yea,i've been thru hell and back since you saw me last,i made a quik 15 grand i'll get the last week of May,got a new/better job, company truck,so now i can trade the 05 GT in,put about 5 grand down, and get a nice c4 for weekend racing, which you know i'm very familiar with.I'll get a c6 or zo6 in a year or so after the big condo deal.I've sold 2 vettes i absolutly loved, every vette i get now is going to stay in the stable.
You remember our track closed right? Now the superfairy is opening, paradisecruisers is already planning a weekend trip to the maui race track.. www.hawaiisuperfairy.com can drive right on,bring pets, choppers for big island cruisers or whatever, you gotta get back over here bro..i don't see your past c5 around anymore, the dude traded it in for one of the new pontiac cars that look like a insect..

Hi Greg,
After owning a 05 GT,and a 07 ford focus, one really appreciates what one had.I won't get into details with you yet,it's still pretty "raw",but i've been thru hell since i left here,in just about every aspect of life, fought thru some serious stuff, prevailed and am stronger for it,still sad about certain things...Nuf riddles for ya.lol
Staying away from DC was nothing personal, just can't elaborate on this at this point.Glad to see the DC family going strong,i peeped in every once in a while.Actually helped keep me motivated in a certain way.
I see it took you guy's finding a bunch of new mods to replace me  ...j/k..
I don't get my money until the end of May,but i'm really itching to get a nice c4.Thanks for taking the time to reply to me when i was making some brief posts in the last year,it meant alot..
Some folks over here know what i was going thru, and i really found out who my friends are..Kalani and Tim (Toolman) are awesome friends...If Tim sells his 87 vert,i'm going to try to talk him into selling me his supercharger.
So obviously by this topic,i had a healthy baby boy..."Alex"..
Thanks for saying hi bro..The company i'm going to work for is sending me to Alabama for school in the near future,i'll try to make a few stops out of this trip if i can.

Hey man good to hear from you. I have put my daughter in my car a number of times. I didn't do it untill I could face the seat forward though. I didn't like how it sat in there rear facing. Good to hear things are looking up for you keep us posted on your new ride.

Yah, I missed grabbing gears, so I traded it in for a 6 speed z51 manual! Just a tune so far. I'm trying to get pics of it loaded up.

Thanks, and thanks for the input,a picture is worth a 1000 words...cute one's,even better..I've got people telling me a child seat in a vette is illegal,(even without the air bag). And of coarse the people saying this have never even owned a vette.

That's hilarous. That is the same thing my daughter says. Sometimes I take it when I go bowling or somewhere by myself and she stands in the window and tells mommy, "No fair, Daddy gets to take the cool car."
