Great chop work. Thanks for the immediate effort...

This looks to be the greatest Camaro Chevrolet never built.

I have never gotten over the C5 lard ass. Now this thing... It must be at least three (3) feet from the bottom of the exhaust cans to the top of the rear deck.

the red look's outstanding,i can't get by the fixed light's though,i really hate them, they ruin the flow of the car and look like the rest of the car's around.that was one thing that made the vette different.why can't they just have an option for either pop-up or fixed, that would be killer.as long as the vette has fixed light's,i will never buy another one.what a shame...look's like my next vette will be a c3 or c4,will never sell the C5.....:buhbye:

damn that's a good photo shop...

I know how to do it because I change the orange one that way, but it took a long time. He just did a really good job, so I was just looking fo a "trick".

EXCUSE ME, I THINK YOU ARE ON THE WRONG SITE. I THINK YOU WANT "VIPERS WISH THEY WERE AS REFINED AS KIT CARS.COM" OR YOU MIGHT TRY "WHAT DO THEY MEAN TURN.COM"

The only reason the big lo$$ Viper is alive today is that Daimler would be a little more embarrassed to drop the car, than they are to admit it is one of MB's cousins. This year they expect to double viper sales - another guy in Las Vegas wants one for the roof of his casino.

It might be embarrassing for a C6 owner if someone asked....
Is that the new Viper?
Looks way too much like the viper for me, not that its a bad thing.
The bad thing is that it isn't a viper!
Well no, but maybe yes.

There isn't a lot of "dare to be different" styling on the C6.

I liked the original Viper... which looked like NOTHING else. Kudo's to dodge.

But the new viper looks like an S2000, or any number of boring cars.

Now, looks aside, I will never get a Viper. I drove an RT10 once. Although it accelerated brutally fast, I almost lost it on a turn because I rollled into the accelerator.

Now, cars fishtail generally when you want them too. But, this SURPRISED me, and the car didn't tell me I was pushing my luck. I don't like surprises.

Then, it seemed like every turn I had to "coast" through it, or I'd be pointing backwards before I knew it.

Arg, I shouldn't have said so much seeing that this is the c6 section, but I'd love to talk about it in the "other cars" section here.

I agree with Patrick, the first gen viper (clown shoe) was a unique, agressive look. I liked it, but it never has gotten the chassis development it needed to work right. They say the second gen is better, but not there yet.

Question is, will Daimler devote the development $$$ needed for such a unique-in-the-Daimler-world car, or will it begin to adopt MB under carriage parts, or will they drop the expensive loosing $$$ line?

I hope the keep it alive long enough to pressure GM into more good things for VETTE!!!!
