got a connection to a guy at a chrome shop. Can the rubber seal on the underside of the master cylider cover be removed and replaced, or is it bonded on there somehow?

what else should be on my list of things under the hood to chrome:
alternator brackets
coil mount bracket
master cylinder cover
distributor cover brackets (missing the rest of the actual cover)
hood support (does this guy come appart easily to have it chromed, or is it riveted?)

I don't know what he is charging you but you can buy a chrome cover for $20. Any gasket I have had just clipped on the lid and had a dab of glue in the middle.

right, so I guess I should have checked Ecker's before posting. They definitely sell their chrome covers and gaskets seperate... Guess that answers that! Thanks anyway, Raid.
