This weekend i had one of those power converters plugged in to my Cigarette lighter to charge my laptop. Not sure if this makes a difference but my radar detector was also plugged in to a spare socket that ther power converter has also. Now i have no power going to my cigarette lighter anymore. I'm wondering if it could be a fuse or something that blew. I look at the fuse box under the hood but it didnt say which fuse is for the cigarette lighter. Any ideas anyone ???

According to the Owner's Manual the fuse box for gauges, lights, and the lighter are under the carpet at the front of the passenger footbox. Haven't actually looked for it, but that's where the book says its at.

I think there is a small fuse that sits in the lighter socket itself. I believe you just twist the lighter socket and pull it out, then pop out the bad fuse in it and put in a new one. At least that's how they've been in my other vehicles.

Mine went out too, but I had to take it to the dealer the next day anyway so they replaced it.
