I know this threads kinda old but hoping to help.

I've never done business with these guys so I can't vouch for them. Just saved this link a while back for my 85.

The EM C4 coilover kit for the 84-87 is a direct fit. I recently installed a set on my 84 and they fit right in. You do have to use the heim end sway bar links for the front and I did swap my rear dog bones out. The guys there are very helpful.

How do you like the ride? You swap to a later model "dog bone"?

I like the ride and they will ask questions about your vehicle weight, setup, etc to get the spring rates dialed in. I went with the heim end dog bones because i didnt like how close the lower dogbone was to the coil over, it probably would have been fine, but didnt want to chance it. I also instaled the drm front dog bone mount that is supposed to help plant the rear end.
