Does anyone know what GM's course of action would be in a case like this. Is scrapping the only option, or would they evaluate each individual engine one by one and R&R parts as necessary?

I wouldn't worry to much about a new one but a replacement engine I might be concerned about. Exit 70 oneastbound I-24 is going away from the BG Plant not toward it
