When I was at Carlisle I stopped by Corvette Racing. I have always wondered what they found after Le Mans when they took the engines apart. I talked to one of the guys in the tent and he told me it was a valve failure. It sounds like they had a new vendor supply the valves. They changed after Le Mans and had another failure and changed vendors again. It looks like they have got the problem fixed now.

The overheating problem was because of the extreme temperature at the track, they said the temperature was well over 105° and a lot of the crews were having over heating problems.

The cars are new and they learn more with every race. This new class sure makes exciting racing.

I haven't seen this posted before, so I though I would pass it on.
