If anyone wants to meet up with the Columbus Corvette Club and drive in with us, we're meeting at the Burger King across the street from Peachtree Mall at 10:00 am on Saturday. :thumbsup:
Corvette Raffle and Show (AL/GA)
The Valley, Alabama chapter of the American Cancer Society has purchased a black on black on black 2007 Corvette Convertible at cost from the local Chevy dealer. They are going to raffle the Corvette on June 15th and only 1000 tickets are being sold for $100 each. The sales tax on the vehicle is also being paid for the winner.
The local Chevy dealer and the Columbus Corvette Club (GA) are trying to get as many Corvettes together as possible to participate in an informal Corvette gathering on Saturday, May 26th around 11:00 am EDT in the dealer’s parking lot. They are attempting to generate as many ticket sales as possible for the American Cancer Society. This will not be ‘car show’ as such, but we need as many Corvettes as possible. There will be a live remote radio broadcast and hot dogs and/or hamburgers for all participants.
If you can help by attending the event or purchasing a raffle ticket, please PM me and let me know. I can tell you how to purchase tickets, but we really need you and your Corvette on May 26th!
