I still dont get why some designer still using corvette base models to destroy them and turn them into this:crazy: the base price for this car is 125k .. is not like i like to talk bad about some designer i am just trying to talk constructive . if you going to use a corvette to make your dream car you better make it better then how it looks. not like this. this car is so confused lol it has like alittle bit of everything. this is c-6 underneth.

I'ts not too bad, but I don't care for it. Any kit placed over a corvette body looks like 'a kit over a corvette body' the windshield and the wheels just give it away. They even left the 5 spoke rims on it, when european sports cars have those BBS type rims. Having said that...I've seen worse kits draped over a vette chassis :surprised

I thought the same of the Callaway C16. IMO it looks terrible and for the money you can get a Z06 that is faster, or wait you could probably get pretty close to an SS when it hits. Both cars although they are stock look better or will look better than the C16 and what ever that is.

But like this guy that I used to work for always said. "There is an ass for every chair." Too bad when you car looks like ass.

haha , i love internet message boards, i see more women driving vettes than men . Its more rare to see a 98-02 trans am on the roads around here. , Anyone have any numbers on how many were made in 05 and also for 06 .

I have to agree that sacrificing a Corvette for any designer is definitely a waste. I also hate to see Corvette components, such as brakes, wasted on station wagons ,yugos, and of course 1985 trans ams.

In 1969, a total of 87,716 trans ams were built (according to http://www.thepontiactransampage.com/production.html) yet you reference the Corvette as being a 'dime a dozen' car and using production numbers in the 30K+ range to support your claim.

I love internet message boards also because the educated can shoot down the ignorant with just a little research. :nuts:
