if you can't decide if your car n eeds to be clayed try this. wrap your fore finger and index finger in cigarette pack cellophane,wrap it tight, now go over different parts of the car and see if it's bumpy,rough,etc. a freind of mine showed me this and trust me it works, you'd be amazed at what you feel, that you wouldn't feel with just the naked skin. hope this helps somebody. also, when you clay the car do it after you've thoroughly washed the car, with soapy water that you have leftover fromm the carwash, clay the car with the soapy water. i do this about every 4 or 5 times i wash the car. you'll also save your detail spray for detailing.:partyon:

That trick works and you can also put your fingers in a zip lock bag. I used to use the soapy water but I just use Detail Spray. A cool fact is that clearcoat is about as thin as the cigarette wrapper
