Myy 88 vette.

While I'm driving down a rough road, the door ajar light comes on and off. How do you go about adjusting it???

Thanks

Had this problem in the vert. I would first check the door switches to make certain they are tight. I was also getting the "door ajar" and it turned out the passenger door sensor was just lose. After I tighten it up the problem was resolved.

:agree: I've had this problem, too on my '89. the pin on the door switch (it's the metal part that looks like the head of a nail) can be adjusted. If you pull out the pin (you may need a screwdriver or a knife to do it) and then shut the door again, this should solve your problem, unless the whole switch is bad.

good luck!
